Abstract = findings" Key Phrase "Key Phrase = group" Age Group "Age Group = Adulthood" Population "Population = Human" Population Location "Population Location = US" Publication Type "Publication Type = Empirical-Study" mean performance of both models averaged over the datasets. For example, once a user has read the first 60% of the prioritised articles using the one reason model, they have seen about 90% of the relevant articles. Because the models have a stochastic element, arising from breaking ties when two or more articles have equal evidence, the bestand worse-case performance is indicated by error bars (where large enough to be visible). The chance level of effort-reward performance, where each extra 10% of reading yields another 10% of the relevant articles, is shown by the thin solid line, and the performance obtained by reading the articles in the default reverse chronological order used by PsycINFO is shown by the thick broken line. The thin broken lines show the best and worst

House of Improvement Model to Enhance Prioritisation of Solutions in Decision Making: a Case Study
The decision making on selection of improvement solutions was one of the obstacles hampering the success of process improvement. This paper presents the House of Improvement (HOI) model as a guideline to link decision criteria for the prioritisation of improvement solutions. Three phases in the HOI are applied to facilitate selection and to ensure that suitable and value-added solutions are cho...
متن کاملApplying One Reason Decision Making: The Prioritization of Literature Searches
When researchers start doing a literature search, they often initially find an unmanageably large number of potentially relevant articles, and are forced to refine their searches. Faced with this information overload, prioritization offers an alternative to search refinement, by ordering the articles so that the ones most likely to be relevant are at the top of the list. Effective prioritizatio...

Background The concept of decision space holds appeal as an approach to disaggregating the elements that may influence decision-making in decentralized systems. This narrative review aims to explore the functioning of decision space and the factors that influence decision space. Methods A narrative review of the literature was conducted with searches of online databases and academic journals ...
متن کاملEvaluation of Rough Set Theory for Decision Making of rehabilitation Method for Concrete Pavement
In recent years a great number of advanced theoretical - empirical methods has been developed for design & modeling concrete pavements distress. But there is no reliable theoretical method to be use in evaluation of conerete pavements distresses and making a decision about repairing them. Only empirical methods is used for this reason. One of the most usual methods in evaluating concrete paveme...
متن کاملApplying a decision support system for accident analysis by using data mining approach: A case study on one of the Iranian manufactures
Uncertain and stochastic states have been always taken into consideration in the fields of risk management and accident, like other fields of industrial engineering, and have made decision making difficult and complicated for managers in corrective action selection and control measure approach. In this research, huge data sets of the accidents of a manufacturing and industrial unit have been st...
